papier-mâché
I use old newspapers when making papier mache sculptures. Sometimes, when brushing my glue mix on the newspaper sheet, my eye is caught by a photo or a headline. I read the article and am sure that the item was written yesterday. I check the date and find that it was written three years ago. This happens all the time. The same old wars, embezzlers, murders, executive thievery, the same old uninspiring politicians worrying more about hanging on to their parliamentary seats rather than their countries best interests. A repetitive cycle year after year, nothing changing, nothing new. So I have come to the conclusion that reading newspapers is a waste of time and that they are better used as recycled material for
papier mache sculptures.
